Mclusky

We are back for Season Three

Just as we kicked off Season Two with something loud, we thought we would repeat the trick with South Wales' own (well apart from the lead singer) Mclusky.

If you are thinking "who?" then you probably feel exactly like Ewan did when we started all this but by next week's episode it will all become clear.

Joining Nick and Ewan are Chris Whitby who will be taking us through the albums , and pod veteran, author, radio host, musician, can i say polymath? Cheri Amour! What, that's not enough? Fine, let's also add Nick Taylor from the rather excellent My Teenage Band podcast.

We look at

My pain and sadness is more sad and painful than yours

Mclusky do Dallas

The difference between me and you is that I'm not on fire

Mcluskyism

There are body parts mentioned, a few impressions of The Young Knives, and some post-hardcore shenanigans.

Find out more about Cheri at http://cheriamour.co.uk/

And check out My Teenage Band at My Teenage Band

As usual there's a playlist incorporating the podcast and selected songs

If you fancy supporting the show, either leave us a review somewhere (Apple Podcasts would be awesome) or ....drumroll.... JOIN OUR PATREON (and help keep the lights on, I don't like the dark) which is over here

Regardless of whether you can chip in, a 5 star review (if you feel like it) on Apple or Podchaser would help enormously. Or just tell your mates!!

Jonathan is the genius behind our theme music and you can hear more of his stuff on his Bandcamp

Additional music in this episode by Blue Dot Sessions

About the Podcast

Temporary Fandoms
Temporary Fandoms: The Music Discography Podcast
Temporary Fandoms is a place where we invite you to become a Temporary Fan of an artist, and hopefully some of you will find artists or bands you become long-term fans of. We are music fans, not gatekeepers, and all are welcome to become temporary fans.

Join us as we dive through the good, the bad and the what? Take your time and listen along. Feel free to pause us and go listen on Spotify or wherever to the albums. Or go to our Spotify playlist and listen to it that way.

To date Nick and Ewan have been joined by an ever growing roster of guests, who all have one thing in common; they want the chance to talk about artists that inspire passion in them. That's not to say this is a gushfest, there are plenty of dissenting opinions on the way.
